Diversity Voice is committed to safeguarding equal rights for migrant workers in Somerset, North Somerset, West Dorset, East Devon and West Wiltshire.

We provide information about support and services available in Somerset. We can also help with official forms such as child benefit, home office registration and many others. You can find out through us about local events in the Polish community and other migrant communities.

Trustee - Treasurer - The overall role of the treasurer is to maintain an overview of the organisation's affairs, ensuring its financial viability and ensuring that proper financial records and procedures are maintained. Also overseeing, approving and presenting budgets, accounts and financial statements and being assured that the financial resources of the organisation meet its present and future needs. Skills/Qualifications required: Financial qualifications, Accuracy, Experience in working with a charity or keen to get experience. Place Bridgwater. Secretary who can organise agendas for meetings, attend and write minutes of meetings in Bridgwater. Please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Volunteer Community officer adviser – a person who can help us on Mondays for two hours to provide assistance for ethnic minority people. They will be helping with issues such as: housing, benefits, schooling, finance, banks, employment and health issues in Bridgwater. Please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. Lingo-Link – an informal way of exchanging language, culture, history between the English community and ethnic minorities. We link people together who can then meet in a social venue such as a coffee shop or pub for a 90 minutes exchange of conversationa dn information. We will try our best to organise for you to meet with another person from Lingo-Link.  This project is accross Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and Devon. Location of Opportunities

Meetings are held in Yeovil, Bridgwater, whilst voluntary work is available across Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, and Devon.
When required: a.m. and p.m.
Flexible working hours. Trustees to attend 5 committee meetings a year (evenings) and additionally to come to the office once a month to check the quality of the accounts. Other volunteers attend on a weekly base in Yeovil.
