The UK Census started in 1801 and takes place every 10 years. It's for everyone, not just UK nationals. Information from the Census helps to make sure that services and support for communities are in place, so it's really important that you are represented. In 2011, 94% of the population completed the Census.
Census 2021 is digital, so if you can, apply online. You will receive a log in. If you don't understand, or want a paper form, please ask for our help.
We offer regulated support free of charge to applicants and employers
Regulated advice in any language, free until March 31.
